         You plan a trip for study or work ? How to give to documents validity abroad?
There are two main types of legalization of documents - putting down the stamp"Apostille" and consular legalization.

What is Apostille?

 Apostille it is one of ways of legalization of documents. The document with a stamp "Apostille" is valid in all countries which have joined the Hague convention from October 5, 1961. The apostille represents a stamp in which  country issues  the document, the name of the organization which gave out it, the name of its organization put down, date of putting down of a stamp the Apostille and, in addition, the Apostille is certified by the signature and an official stamp. Filling of the placed stamp is made according to provisions of the Hague convention.

To the main bodies, authorized to put down a stamp the Apostille on official documentation, belong:

 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

 - Ministry of Justice ;

 - Ministry of Education .

We pay your attention that on  and territories of the states which aren't entering into the list of the countries of the Hague convention, an apostille is considered  invalid. In such cases procedure of consular legalization is required (to make a hyperlink).

The apostille can be put only on the documents issued by official bodies:

Private documents:

diplomas, archival references, training programs, certificates;

certificates (about non-conviction, from the place of residence, about state of health);

 documents, provided by  authorities of Civil Registry(Marriage Certificate,Birth Certificate, Divorce Certificate, etc.);

the documents made by notary (the statement, the power of attorney,etc.) .

Legal documents (certificates on registration, power of attorney, charters, and other  documents).

 certificates (about non-conviction, from the place of residence ,about state of health);

 documents, provided by authorities of Civil Registry(Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Divorce, etc.);

documents, made by notary (applications, powers of attorney, etc).

Legal documents (certificates on registration, power of attorney, charters, and other  documents).

Double apostille:

There are cases when at document registration certain countries, require putting down on it a double apostille. It means that the first apostille is put on the original or on the notarized copy of the document then notarized transfer is carried out; thus the second apostille is put down on the translation certified by the notary.

The countries which demand a double apostille: Austria, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Portugal, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy.

There is a number of the states for which there are two possible ways of registration of legalization:

apostille on the document + notarial translation + the second apostille

apostille on the document + the accredited translation with the consular press. Such countries treat: Italy, Spain, France.

What is the accredited apostille?

The accredited transfer is the transfer executed by the translator accredited at the embassy which has the relevant document on the education, confirming its qualification and who confirmed the knowledge, in accordance with the established procedure, and underwent accreditation procedure at embassy. The signature of the accredited translator, as a rule, is certified by the authorized employee of consular department and the press of consular establishment.

The instance choice for putting down of an apostille depends on the document filed by you.
